In 2002 BJC renovated all of its industrial facilities with a new 29,000 m2 production center that allows centralizing all production processes in the same area. From the transformation of plastics, to the cutting and shaping of metals.
Assemblies and assemblies, electrical and Quality laboratories, including the Research and Development Department.
On June 10, 2008, BJC is integrated into Siemens, in the Building Technologies division, Low Voltage business unit.
< p>During 2011, BJC became the productive and strategic center of Siemens for all Small Material with DIN VDE mechanism platform. In addition to producing the BJC series, it produces all the Siemens DELTA series, for which all functions (R&D, Quality, Marketing) are transferred from Germany to BJC in Rubi (Barcelona).
BJC will coordinate for Europe the portfolio of Small Material, of the Siemens BJC and DELTA series, since the two brands will be maintained: BJC and Siemens, in the markets where they operate.< /p>
In order to concentrate small material in BJC, during 2010 the lighting division of BJC was transferred to OSRAM, a company specializing in lighting that also belongs to the Siemens group.
This recognition from Siemens towards BJC is the result of intense work based on research, quality, design and a job well done. This way of acting has led BJC to obtain ISO 9001 by
Aenor in 1993 for Small Material, and ISO 9001 in 1997 for the Industrial Material division.
BJC is endorsed by the ISO 14001 certificate, through which it demonstrates and guarantees adequate environmental management in all its processes.
