OneFlow® is not a water softener, but uses an innovative technology (Template Assisted Crystallization (CAP) that improves tap water quality by neutralizing limescale. The OneFlow® media in the cartridge attracts calcium and magnesium minerals in water hard and turns them into microscopic crystals. Once formed, these crystals break down from the OneFlow® medium and flow freely through the piping system without sticking to internal surfaces. Therefore, hard lime is excluded in pipes and heating elements .
Good to Know: Water treated with OneFlow® retains the same composition as normal tap water. This is because no salt or other chemicals are added to the water. Unlike water that has been treated with a 'normal' water softener, OneFlow® ensures that important minerals such as calcium and magnesium are preserved.
In addition to the CAP cartridge, OneFlow ™ + also includes an integrated 20 micron carbon filter. This type not only protects your pipes against limescale, but also ensures that the water is free of unpleasant odors and flavors. This carbon filter does not remove manganese, iron, and other metals.
