Tube flaring tool kit. Precision tool that has been designed to make 45º SAE flares to tube sizes from 1/4" to 3/4", with a minimum of effort, guaranteeing the tightness of the connections and avoiding losses between them.
This kit consists of 3 parts:
1. A screw with a handle housed in a central body, at the end of which is the eccentric expander
.
2. A stamped bar that serves as both a matrix and a clamp. It opens in the form of a clamp to facilitate the coupling of the different tube diameters.
3. A side screw with its corresponding sliding handle also anchored radially to the body
to center the aforementioned die-cut bar.
This entire kit is presented and supplied in a plastic case for facilitate transport and storage
APPLICATIONS
This eccentric flaring tool is commonly used for flaring copper pipes for refrigeration.
With this manual tool it is possible to widen the ends of the pipes in order to facilitate the
coupling to another pipe or accessory.
ADVANTAGES
The flare cone, which is made of hardened steel and eccentrically mounted, produces through its rotation
a rolling action for a uniform configuration of the flare, without surface defects.
The Easy-to-use ratcheting grip and ergonomic design reduce user effort, even in tight work spaces
. The grip clutch is released when the flare is complete.
The die mentioned in point 2 consists of 6 standardized holes to be able to flare 1/4”, 5/16”, 3/8 tubes. ”, 1/2”, 5/8” and 3/4”.
