THE ORIGINS OF THE COMPANY
TUCAI was founded in 1963 in Barcelona, as a manufacturer of flexible connectors for the automotive sector, and over the years the business has grown while developing a customized product to adapt to the changing needs of customers and offer customers sector a quality recognized by the most important certification organizations in the world.
When the opportunity arose to expand our business to supply products to OEMs in Asia, North and South America, South Africa and also to USD markets, we created a 14,000 m² plant in Ningbo (south of Shanghai) in 2004.
More recently, in 2007, new operations were started in Bulgaria to provide our group with production facilities in the euro zone and to strengthen Tucai's position as a world leader, always offering the most cost-effective solution.
With its annual net sales of USD 47 million in 2010, TUCAI is among the three largest producers of flexible connections in the world. The company's high-quality products are designed, created and manufactured by a diverse team of 400 employees at three facilities to stay close to customers and understand their diversity.
